Can I drill a hole in a plexiglass fish tank?

My 60 gallon tank has only one hole in the top (aside from the one under the light) and the hole is in the back. I want to add a hole in the front so it’s easier to feed the fish and watch them eat. Can I use a power drill to make a small hole without risking cracking or destroying the tank?
