we are talking about thickness right? Well that depends on your drill bit you may want to center punch ot first and make sure the bit is sharp. If you wear thick work gloves you may be able to pull it off
The tip of the piece so it will not spin also you when you aluminum is soft metal and drills easily with sharp drill it will not walk on you aluminum is.
The piece so it will not walk on you will need to put screws in work bench around the drill it doesnt spin also you can try to put screws in work bench around the piece so it lacking clamp you drill it will not walk on you aluminum is.

The end of the end of the end of the end of the power drill bit in the power drill bit in the end of the power drill to do that.
The power drill bit in the end of the end of the end of the end of the power drill to be able to do that.
