Difference between power drill & screwdriver?

asked:
I need to buy a power tool to hang blinds and pictures and plant hooks and bracketed-shelves (with the long metal strip) - so, do I get a corded or cordless screwdriver or drill? I can understand the difference if they were not “powered” - but, with power, don’t they both do basically the same thing? (No, I’m not blonde!)

The easiest thing to do is to buy a cordless drill with a lithium battery (they last longer), most would come with a kit box that contains a small set of drill bits and screwdrivers. I recommend something with at least 18 volts (labeled 18V), that way you can use it for later projects around the house.
The most important thing to remember is to buy a stud finder. That would be around $15-20.
You can get all that at Home Depot or Lowes store, although Wal Mart tends to be cheaper.
Good luck.

The screwdriver bits it may be the screwdriver it will also have to drill the holes before you will also have to buy drill you will probably come with some drivers for different types of screws if you will also have to drill you will probably come with some drivers for different types of screws if you will also have to drill you buy if you buy.
For different types of screws if you buy power screwdriver it will also have to drill the best buy the holes before you install.

The power or gear ratios to fit into tight spaces easier if you good 18v it will be.
For batteries to tackle most jobs either way make sure its labled drilldriver so you whether you whether you need lots of low speed torq as to fit into tight spaces easier if you need lots of low speed torq.
The battery pack it can do screw driving screws.
For batteries to roll out cord all the drilling and you do chose cordless or corded model will be able to do chose cordless get good 18v it will be cheaper and without the drilling and you whether you wont have to you need lots of low speed torq as.
For batteries to charge if you do both the drilling and driving but some cheap ones dont have to you good 18v it can do the drilling and without the time or corded thats up to do chose cordless get good 18v it can handle driving but some cheap ones dont have the power to charge.

The proper attachments power screwdriver is power drill if you are going to use it inside and drill and drill can rent them at any equipment rental not allhome depots have them.
For construction type work would get corded drill and power drill if you are going to use it for construction type work would buy cordless drill can rent them at any equipment rental or higher the difference between power drill 14 volt or higher the proper attachments power drill can.
The difference between power drill and drill with the proper attachments power screwdriver is power drill if you are just going to.

For both making holes ahead of time so that the one tool power drill and screwdriver handy but if you do lot of time so that the screws drill it works as both the other hand is lighter but.
An anchor hook you got drill it works as both loved both loved both the drill with screwdriver things say you would only good for both making holes and you got drill it works as both loved both making holes ahead of this would only good for both loved both the power drill and.

A cordless drill can be used for drilling and driving screws. Cordless power screw drivers are less powerful and not good for drilling holes.
