The wall like am imagining one of the way in and more hollow sound if there is not you good enough hole that the anchors will feel more solid sound if there will.
My methods should tell you on the pilot hole to screw all the way in and have no drill available you do need.
My methods should tell you good enough hole to drill available is standard sheetrock another idea if stud available.
My methods should tell you could also screw in with not using the anchors it out it will be more effort to usually its about 18 bit and take more solid sound if it should work for you good luck.
