De Walt is the commercial contractors line of Black and Decker Tools. You can’t go wrong with that ! Also, Home Depot’s own brand of tools is RIGID , Not Ryobi. I own all 3 brands of tools including Porter- Cable. You can spend alot or a little for your tools . You get what you pay for—DON’T BUY CHEAP !!!!

Jeepers, why didn’t you ask this question before buying Dewalt which are glorified Black & Decker tools? *Milwaulkee, *Hitachi, Ridgid, Skil, Makita and *Ingersol Rand are all far better!
*Denotes hands down the best of the best.

About 4 years back I was on a union site where I needed to drill some 25 3/8″ holes in concrete. Being a union job I wasn’t allowed to run any leads on the ground, all leads needed to being suspended off the ground.
That meant I had to find a power point plus these hook stands where as one needed to wrapping the lead around the hooks to make sure the lead would come off, well you get the picture.
Well it had been a tough day and this wasn’t making it any easier, so I thought I’d get out the because I didn’t want to screw around chasing the hook stand and rolling out a lead. I had two fully charged batteries and even though I knew I shouldn’t use a cordless, because 25 holes in concrete isn’t the best way to use such a tool.
Cut to the chase, even with gloves on I had to stop twice and let the drill cool down, because the dewalt got so hot I could apply pressure with my hands (never missed a beat that day or any after). A lesser drill would of given it up and fried, without a doubt one of the finest tools money can buy, anyone who would tell you dewalt wasn’t a good tool, shouldn’t be taken seriously.
