I have an 18v battery from a cordless drill that won’t recharge.The directions say to precharge.How do I?

It is a Delta drill. The battery is a NiCd and not completely dead. No luck on their website and the store doesn’t carry replacements.

      If it doesnt hold a charge its no good.
      Buy a new battery, try ebay, order one directly from Delta.

      Toss it in a recycle bin and get a Dewalt, drill,battery, charger and case, $99 with a good warranty.
