Space Case asked: Its between 350 lbs torque power drill w/ case ($86) or 400 lbs. torque drill w/o case ($120). Which one?

depends what you are going to be doing, but i would say no for most people.

If you’re asking, you can’t afford it. No, I mean that if you’re asking you probably don’t need the extra torque.
OK, kidding aside. It depends on how much and how hard you use the drill. Myself, I would spend the extra money. The extra torque will help you drill a difficult hole easier. I’m sure you have had a drill stop turning because the bit got stuck or something like that. The extra torque will help keep the bit going.
But more importantly, the drill with the higher torque rating should be built sturdier and stronger. It should last longer under heavy use. The motor shouldn’t burn out as easy and the case shouldn’t break or crack as easy.
