For around 100 bucks or so for drywall too and relatively inexpensive bought craftsman one to do similar jobs as you plan on.

Are you going to buy this nailer just for this one job? If so, I would look at less expensive alternatives. This tool is about $300-$400 and if your going to use it sparingly, then I would purchase a combo kit of tools, at least you would have more than just one tool and they would have more uses and be more versitale the just that nailer. Maybe see if Home Depot rents this tool? You could buy a compressor and framing nailer for what you paid for the cordless nailer and use the compressor to put air in your tires, paint, work on your car, all the differnent types of nailers could be used for different projects. So your options are greater and tool will have a more versitile use.
