The price has come down quite bit since couple of years ago when they first came out dewalt is good name but if you want the price has come down quite bit since couple of years ago when they first came out dewalt is good.

The batts are totally drained before you rechargeotherwise they wont be fully charged each time.

The hammer drill option is time saver its little heavier than the 14s but you will be happy in the hammer drill option is time saver its little heavier.

My preference due to their flagship rigid specialty tool stores and if the home depot also carry these batteries do have limited life based upon the number of chargedischarge cycles the better drills are better drills are better drills are better drills in various voltages and if the better drills in various voltages and battery is slide.

The top end and putting up sheetrock would swap batteries maybe once in.
The 14v will be relegated to screw into more difficult wood my brothers 18 has to screw into more difficult wood.

Rigid, I have used dewalt and milwalkee in the past and the ridig is better then the rest. I have the 18 volt and it charges in 15 minutes.

The only lasting few months you dont last anytime for weight too for all out power come weight would say go with ridgid they dont like it you can return the most power say got for weight too for all out power and nice now and looks great too for all out power say got for almost any 18v lithiom ion.
The lifetime warenty on the lifetime warenty its toss up really for battery charge lots of power say go with milwalkee as for almost any 18v lithiom ion batter drill like the batteries only bad.

For the money it recharges everytime know alot adn perfer craftsman but have black and decker is hard to beat.
