Will a brand new, but 10 year old, cordless drill still hold a charge?

BATMAN asked:

I have a chance to buy a 10 year old, but never used, still in the original box, cordless drill. Will it still take & hold a charge?

Probably not. anyway,10 years ago the technology was not quiet what it is today. Buy you a new 18 volt or better drill.

For hanging picture but they do not hold charge for hanging picture but they do not have the power to sink drywall screws if you are planning major job they may be good.
For any type of real job invest in an electric drill.
